A little support goes a long way in Mali

Together with our supporters, we are helping thousands of people restore their resources and land and build more secure futures.

Donate

Your support achieves a lot in Mali and makes a real difference
  • £6.50 will pay for a long-term source of clean water for a family
  • £7 will buy a lamp so that women do not give birth in the dark
  • £10 will plant 110 agroforestry trees to improve crop yields
  • £25 will buy two locally-made beehives to provide income and to increase biodiversity
  • £90 can plant an orchard so that a young person does not have to migrate
  • £195 can train and provide life-saving equipment to a Birth Attendant
Thank you for your generous support! This will be so greatly appreciated in Mali

We can never thank you enough.  Thanks to you, we no longer need to travel 30 km there and back under the blazing sun to fetch water.  Elizabeth

“Life has returned to the village and everyone is going about their business and this is thanks to you who have agreed to help us… thank you for everything… Akougnon

” A fruit tree is a promise of resilience. We’re proud to support Joliba to help Yorosso move from fragile cotton fields to thriving fruit and nut orchards. It’s about more than just food; it’s about restoring land and protecting communities in a changing climate.”

Leave a Legacy

By leaving a gift to Joliba Trust in your Will, you can help create lasting change for communities in Mali for generations to come

A legacy gift is an investment in the future. It helps ensure that families have access to food, healthcare, clean water, and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods. Your generosity will continue to support community-led projects long after your lifetime, giving hope to those who need it most.

Every Gift Makes a Difference
Choosing to leave a legacy is a deeply personal decision. We are honoured that you would consider including Joliba Trust in your Will.

No matter the size of your gift, it can have a meaningful impact. After providing for your loved ones, you may wish to leave either:

  • A share of your estate (known as a residuary gift).
  • A fixed sum of money.
  • A specific item of value, such as property, shares, jewellery or an artwork.
Making or Updating Your Will

Leaving a gift to Joliba Trust is simple. Your solicitor or professional will writer can advise you on the best way to include a charitable gift that reflects your wishes.

If you have already made a Will, it is usually straightforward to add a gift to Joliba by using a codicil without rewriting your entire Will. Ask your Solicitor for advice.

“A big thank you to all those from far or near helped us to have water. May God bless them”. Fatoumata
